Chau Pha commune collaborates with universities on science and technology and digital transformation.

On October 3rd, Chau Pha commune held a ceremony to launch the National Digital Transformation Day 2026 and inaugurate the "Chau Pha Digital Touchpoint 2026" festival, implementing practical digital experience, consultation, and support activities for local residents.

At the "Chau Pha Digital Touchpoint 2026" event, Chau Pha commune set up 10 experience, consultation, and support stations, focusing on practical needs such as digital citizenship, digital skills, and digital safety; AI in life and work; digital economy and household businesses; job counseling; e-taxation; digital signatures and telecommunications services; digital schools; digital payments, and digital agriculture.

These experiential camps have attracted a large number of local residents, businesses, and students in Chau Pha commune to participate.

During the program, Chau Pha commune signed a cooperation agreement with Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade on science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

According to the cooperation agreement, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade will send volunteer students and lecturers to Chau Pha commune to coordinate with community digital technology forces to guide people in using online public services, cashless payments, and basic information security skills.

Chau Pha commune has a strong agricultural potential, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade can support the locality in researching and transferring circular economy models such as utilizing agricultural by-products, producing organic fertilizers, biological products, or technologies for drying and preserving agricultural products after harvest.

Supporting cooperatives and farmers' households in optimizing production processes, improving product quality, ensuring traceability, and building OCOP brands...

Ms. Le Thi Thuy, Secretary of the Party Committee of Chau Pha commune, said that the "Chau Pha Digital Touchpoint 2026" event is not only to introduce technology but, more importantly, to allow people to experience, practice, and independently use digital application services that suit their needs.

The signing of the agreement between the locality and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade is an opportunity for the locality to connect with intellectual resources and experts to serve training, AI application, innovation, and human resource development.
