With the message "No one should be alone on their parenting journey," WeFamily Awards 2026 broadens the perspective on the "extraordinary" nature of motherhood.
It could be resilience in the face of difficulties, but it can also begin with very simple things: taking care of your children every day, accompanying them as they grow up, knowing how to take care of yourself, and continuing to pursue your work and personal aspirations.
The program aims to reduce the pressure to be the "perfect mother" while encouraging members to share childcare responsibilities.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Do Thi Duyen, General Director of KidsPlaza, shared that after more than 18 years of accompanying families, the company has realized that raising children is a process of sacrifice, companionship, and values that are difficult to measure in numbers.
According to her, an extraordinary mother is sometimes not someone who appears in the spotlight, but rather a mother who quietly cares for her children, stays up with them when they are sick, worries when they are in pain, and is willing to sacrifice a part of her own desires to care for them.
The WeFamily Awards 2026 comprises four categories: "Extraordinary Mom," "Mom with Millions of Views," "Our Family Together," and "Relaxed Pregnant Mom." Each category has five awards. The results are determined based on 50% community voting points and 50% points from the judging panel.
Applications are evaluated based on criteria such as authenticity, ethical standards, and alignment with the award's message; content featuring images of children must ensure children's rights, civility, and safety.
In the "Extraordinary Mom" category, the five honored individuals are Huong Nguyen (VIP Baby's Mother), Truong Huong Thuy (Xiu's Mother), Thu Huong (Growing Up Together with Dau), singer Ngoc Khue, and Dieu Linh.
In this poll, singer Ngoc Khue led with 18,107 votes, followed by Thu Huong with 12,239 votes. The selected stories portray various aspects of modern mothers, from those in the arts to mothers who share their parenting journeys on social media.
The "Mom & Baby with Millions of Views" category recognizes Hot Moms and content creators working in the Mother & Baby field, with criteria that prioritize both reach and the quality of information, civilized creativity, and the safety of children in the digital environment.
The five honored individuals are Linda Ngo, Le Hoai Quyen, Trox & Lacci, Simple Family, and Vidhia Rahma. Vidhia Rahma led the voting with 22,527 votes and 82.17 points from the judging panel.
In the "Together in Our Family" category, the award focuses on the role of husbands, grandparents, and other relatives in helping mothers care for and raise their children.
Five families were honored: the Television Family, the Nhung Tuan Family, the Thao Duong Family, the Dang Khoi - Thuy Anh Family, and the Ali Thuc Phuong Family. The Dang Khoi - Thuy Anh Family led with 11,910 votes, followed by the Nhung Tuan Family with 10,398 votes.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, singer Dang Khoi said that a family doesn't need to be perfect; what matters is that the members always stick together.
Ms. Thuy Anh, wife of singer Dang Khoi, also mentioned the 20-year journey of the couple, filled with joy, happiness, and challenges, in which the support of parents and children has been the foundation for the family to move forward together.
In the "Relaxed Pregnancy" category, five individuals were honored: Mother Pineapple, Nguyen Huyen, Doan Minh Anh, Minh Thu, and Tran Thi Thien. This category was created from 500 audience nominations, celebrating women who proactively take care of themselves, maintain a positive lifestyle, and confidently enjoy their pregnancy.
Besides the awards ceremony, the program featured artistic performances by Hoa Minzy, Phan Manh Quynh, Ngoc Khue, and other artists, along with interactive activities for families.
The Hug-cam moment, capturing images of parents, children, and couples exchanging hugs, highlighted family bonding within the celebratory atmosphere.
The WeFamily Awards 2026 focuses on everyday stories and the role of companionship within the family.
From mothers directly caring for their children and fathers sharing responsibility, to families and content creators sharing parenting experiences, the awards aim for a common message: Happy families are built on listening, understanding, and sharing among each member.
