In particular, Tran Hung Dao, Ha Hoang Ho, Vo Thi Sau, and Pham Cu Luong streets were severely flooded. In some places, the water level rose to nearly 1 meter, making it difficult for many vehicles to move, and some cars broke down. By nearly 3 PM, the rain had stopped, but many roads remained flooded due to slow water receding.
According to the An Giang Provincial Meteorological and Hydrological Station, water levels on the Hau River at Long Xuyen and the Ong Chuong Canal at Cho Moi are remaining above alarm level 2. High tides are likely to continue causing flooding in low-lying areas and some urban areas, including Long Xuyen, Binh Duc, and My Thoi wards.
