Delegates attending the art program "Nguyen Trung Truc - an immortal legacy".

Attending the program were Tong Phuoc Truong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Propaganda Department of An Giang Province; Le Van Phuoc, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang Province; former provincial leaders; leaders of departments, agencies, organizations, and localities, along with a large number of local people and tourists.

The program consists of three parts: "Immortal Milestones," "The Spirit of An Giang," and "Aspiration for Advancement," combining various forms of singing, dancing, and Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) with the participation of many singers and artists from within and outside the province.

The performances focused on recreating the image of national hero Nguyen Trung Truc, the patriotic and indomitable spirit of the resistance fighters against French colonialism; and at the same time, introduced the image of An Giang province in its process of construction and development.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, a resident of Can Tho City, said that every year her family returns to Rach Gia ward for the commemoration of the death anniversary of national hero Nguyen Trung Truc. Through this year's art program, she had the opportunity to learn more about the life and spirit of this national hero.

"The program was very engaging, especially the performance about the hero Nguyen Trung Truc. The performance didn't simply reenact his biography through illustration, but rather built the image of Nguyen Trung Truc as a symbol of the indomitable spirit of Southern Vietnam," Ms. Hoa shared.

The program contributes to creating a vibrant atmosphere during the festival days, serving the cultural and artistic needs of local people and tourists who come to Rach Gia to attend the Nguyen Trung Truc Festival.
