Notably, out of the 718 sets of remains collected at Le Thi Rieng Park, 306 sets had accompanying artifacts. These artifacts were collected, preserved, and used to verify and clarify information related to the fallen soldiers.

Specifically on October 4th, the Team for the Collection of Remains of Fallen Soldiers (Team K74) under the Ho Chi Minh City Command, along with related forces, continued to carry out their mission in Zone B of Le Thi Rieng Park.

The task force processed over 400 cubic meters of soil and mobilized 3 excavators, 1 dump truck, and 2 3.5-ton trucks to excavate and transport the soil, expanding the search area. As a result, 5 sets of remains of fallen soldiers were discovered and collected along with 2 sets of accompanying artifacts.

The search for the remains of fallen soldiers at Le Thi Rieng Park is being carried out based on the conclusions of Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra at a workshop verifying information about mass graves of fallen soldiers in the Do Thanh - Chi Hoa Cemetery area, now Le Thi Rieng Park.

After more than three months of deployment, the number of remains of fallen soldiers discovered has exceeded 700, demonstrating the large scale of the search area. In particular, the continued discovery of remains in Area B indicates that the search area still has many areas that need to be thoroughly examined.
