According to the plan, approximately 800 volunteers will participate in providing support, directly assisting in many important positions such as: watering, coordinating the race route, providing medical care, etc., contributing to ensuring the smooth and safe running of the tournament.
During the training session, members of the Organizing Committee directly guided and shared their experience in distributing T-shirts, awarding medals, and coordinating the running route for the assigned volunteers. The training session took place in a cheerful atmosphere, with many students saying this was their first time volunteering at the Lotus Land Marathon.
The Lotus Land Marathon will begin on October 9-10 at Van Mieu Square (Cao Lanh Ward) with a Food Festival event.
The KUN FUN Run Dong Thap (children's race) will take place at 7:00 AM on October 10th; the opening ceremony of the Lotus Land Marathon will be held at 7:00 PM on October 10th at Van Mieu Square (Cao Lanh Ward).
The official competition day will begin at 3:30 PM on October 11th on Ly Thuong Kiet Street (Cao Lanh Ward) with distances of 42 km, 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km, with the participation of approximately 15,000 athletes. The awards ceremony and closing event will take place from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
