To ensure the quality of the work, he requested that the preparation and production process be conducted scientifically, meticulously, and rigorously, with a high sense of responsibility. Specifically, the film must ensure historical accuracy, political and ideological soundness, while also possessing artistic quality, appeal, and the ability to evoke emotions and create empathy with the public. These are the requirements for a work that simultaneously fulfills the task of propaganda and education, while also aiming for artistic value and lasting vitality in the hearts of the audience.

"Land of Fire" is based on an original script by Meritorious Artist Bui Tuan Dung. Meritorious Artist Dang Thai Huyen is responsible for developing and refining the script and serving as director. This is the first time the two artists have collaborated on a film project, both focusing on the theme of revolutionary war – a subject that demands historical understanding, humanistic depth, and creative prowess.

"Land of Fire" was born from the aspiration of a collective of officers, soldiers, and artists who wished to work together to create a work that tells the story with respect for history, deeply understands the losses and suffering of war, and helps today's audience appreciate the value of peace even more.

Accompanying the completion of the work was Colonel Nguyen Thu Dung, Director of the People's Army Film Studio, in the role of script editor and film editor. This work aimed to ensure consistency between content, ideological orientation, artistic requirements, and the criteria set for a film on the theme of revolutionary war. In the production organization phase, Colonel Kieu Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director of the People's Army Film Studio, served as Production Director, responsible for coordinating and ensuring the necessary conditions for the project to be implemented according to the plan, requirements, and scale determined.
