The fourth phase of the 2026 campaign in Hoang Liet aims to mobilize the entire population in reducing the density of disease-carrying mosquitoes in the community, promptly preventing the emergence of new outbreaks, and minimizing the number of cases.

The practical significance of the campaign lies in raising awareness and changing the behavior of each household, agency, and unit. Instead of waiting for an outbreak to occur before taking action, the campaign creates a movement of "prevention is better than cure," arousing a sense of self-awareness in maintaining hygiene from each individual, building a civilized and clean lifestyle in residential areas, neighborhoods, agencies, and schools in Hoang Liet ward.

To ensure the campaign's effectiveness, Hoang Liet ward intensified its宣传 efforts through the ward's public address system, displayed banners and slogans, and disseminated information through community Zalo groups.

The ward organized volunteer forces, the Youth Union, the Women's Association, and the people to clean up public areas, playgrounds, and vacant lots; clear bushes, unclog drains, and remove garbage dumps. The movement was implemented in all 20 residential areas and is being maintained weekly.

Local health officials instructed households to thoroughly turn over unused water containers; introduce fish into ornamental ponds and jars; tightly cover water containers and collect discarded materials such as bottles and old tires that could collect rainwater.

For key areas, especially near ponds, lakes, and wastewater sources, health centers should carry out large-scale mosquito control spraying in high-risk areas, environmentally polluted areas, or places where suspected cases arise to break the chain of disease transmission.
