On the afternoon of October 3rd, the Golden Hills Eco-Urban Area project was relaunched in Da Nang City with the participation of Politburo member and Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc , Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang, and representatives from central agencies.
Major real estate project faces legal obstacles for over 10 years.
The Golden Hills eco-urban area in the Northwest of Da Nang is currently invested in by Trung Nam Joint Stock Company and developed by KITA Group Joint Stock Company.
Golden Hills spans approximately 335 hectares, with a total investment of tens of thousands of billions of VND, and is one of the large-scale urban areas located in the northwest of Da Nang City.
This project was launched more than 10 years ago, but due to various factors, resolving the obstacles has taken a long time.
Recently, the Da Nang City People's Committee issued a decision allowing the continued allocation and leasing of land for the project's implementation.
This provides the basis for the investor to continue carrying out procedures related to investment, land, construction, and environment in accordance with regulations.

The project's restart comes amidst significant infrastructure investment in the Northwest Da Nang area, including Lien Chieu Port, the Da Nang Free Trade Zone, and the High-Tech Park.
According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, the central government and the city have made efforts to resolve long-standing stalled projects.
To date, many projects have completed the legal procedures, helping to unlock investment resources and making a significant contribution to the development of Da Nang.
Unleash resources for Da Nang City's development.
Speaking at the project's relaunch ceremony, Politburo member and Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc said that Da Nang City has made great efforts to achieve many important growth targets in recent times.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister , the implementation of projects in Da Nang still faces many difficulties and obstacles, causing many projects to be stalled and prolonged, resulting in wasted land resources, investment capital, time, and hindering the city's development.
The Golden Hills City project received its investment certificate a long time ago, but the implementation process has involved many changes regarding planning, boundaries, land allocation, and investment procedures.

Over the past period, the Politburo, the National Assembly , and the Government have issued many specific mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles and unlock resources for development. The relaunch of Golden Hills is a practical milestone in implementing these policies.
Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc requested Da Nang City to continue creating favorable conditions and providing maximum support to investors; ensuring that past mistakes by local authorities do not affect the rights of businesses and the city's development.
Government errors must be addressed and rectified; business mistakes must be dealt with according to the law , and no new violations should be allowed to occur.
The Deputy Prime Minister also requested that ministries and agencies continue to support the city in resolving obstacles. Investors must fulfill their commitments, complete legal procedures and financial obligations, ensure progress and quality, and bring the project into operation.
At the event on the afternoon of October 3rd, the investor and developer announced the new commercial name of the project: KITA Danera Bay.
The project is oriented towards developing a multi-functional ecological urban model, including housing, commerce, services, education, healthcare, parks, and social infrastructure.
According to KITA Group, the company will coordinate with the investor and relevant parties to continue improving the project's infrastructure, landscaping, and amenities in accordance with the plan.
The relaunch of Golden Hills marks a new phase of implementation for a large-scale project in the Northwest Da Nang area.
On the same day, the Khoi Nguyen Kindergarten held its groundbreaking ceremony, marking the first step in the new phase of implementation.
According to statistics, there are currently more than 5,000 stalled projects facing long-term difficulties and obstacles nationwide. Nearly 4,000 projects have been resolved; more than 1,300 projects are still being processed.
