On October 3rd, Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son issued a decision to dismiss and transfer Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh from his position.
According to the decision, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh will resign from his position as Chairman of the Board of Members and General Director of Vietnam Education Publishing House Co., Ltd. effective October 5th, at his own request. After leaving the position, Mr. Thanh will transfer to work at the Literature and Arts newspaper under the Vietnam Writers Association .
The decision states that Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh is responsible for handing over all files, documents, ongoing work, finances, assets, as well as related rights and obligations to the Vietnam Education Publishing House in accordance with the law and internal regulations.
Mr. Thanh's salary, allowances, and other benefits will continue to be implemented in accordance with current state regulations.
In April 2024, the then Minister of Education and Training, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son, issued a decision appointing Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh, Editor-in-Chief of the Life and Law Magazine, as Chairman of the Board of Members and General Director of Vietnam Education Publishing House One-Member Limited Liability Company, effective from May 15, 2024.
Thus, after more than two years working at the Vietnam Education Publishing House, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh returned to journalism according to his personal wishes.
