The performance tells the story of soldiers on duty who receive news that their hometown is submerged in floods, and their younger sibling has been swept away by the water while trying to save others.
Hoang Ton suggested the image of a soldier, while Cheng realized the lyrics fit the story of the natural disaster. According to Cheng, he handled the melody, while 14 Casper wrote all the lyrics for the X-parts (sections of music with newly written or creatively added lyrics, usually not exceeding 50% of the original song, to refresh familiar songs and create unique highlights for performances - PV).

My younger brother's performance was the most talked-about part in the audience's comments. Dinh Manh Ninh's climax was mentioned the most, with many saying his voice was perfectly suited to the song. Cheng's acting and his thin, haunting appearance surprised many viewers.
As a result, My Younger Sibling received 1,530 points, 10 points less than Khai Hoan's Home-cooked Meal . This close margin accurately reflects the general sentiment of the audience: most found it difficult to choose, with many commenting that My Younger Sibling was better while Home- cooked Meal was less impressive.
