Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, City Party Committee member and Secretary of the Ninh Kieu Ward Party Committee, attended the conference.
Currently, the ward has over 2,600 businesses, 11,300 business households, and 8 cooperatives. The network of commerce, services, accommodation, finance, banking, transportation, and various services catering to tourists is quite developed. Commercial and service activities in the central area and business streets continue to operate, contributing to job creation, boosting consumption, and increasing budget revenue.
The People's Committee of the ward strives to develop and maintain the effective operation of over 11,350 production and business establishments, cooperative economic organizations, cooperatives, and business households by the end of 2026. At the same time, it will review, encourage, and guide eligible business households to convert into enterprises.
At the conference, representatives from businesses and households reflected on the unsatisfactory environmental sanitation in the city center, especially Ninh Kieu Wharf; they proposed urban beautification to attract tourists; and requested transparency in planning information. Some businesses suggested support solutions such as tax deferral; advice on the use of electronic invoices; digital signatures; sales management and e-commerce software; and access to credit.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, City Party Committee member and Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, acknowledged the opinions and suggestions of businesses and business households and committed to continuing to implement solutions to improve the investment and business environment, creating favorable conditions for businesses and business households.
