The highlight of the program is the music night from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM on October 3rd, expected to attract 10,000 to 20,000 people. Admission is free, and tickets for the FANZONE area are available through the Viettel Tammi app. Featuring Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, Phuong Ly, Lam Bao Ngoc, and Rap Viet winner Double2T, along with a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, the event promises to deliver a vibrant entertainment experience for locals and tourists.

The appeal of the artists was the starting point for attracting the public to the event in Lai Chau province; along with a series of experiences surrounding the stage, it helped broaden the journey of discovery . At the Provincial People's Square and central streets, the program arranged spaces to experience the Viettel digital ecosystem with 5G technology, the Tammi experience area, and the Tivi 360 photo service space. These activities created more options for attendees, connecting entertainment needs with access to digital services.

Along with technology, indigenous culture creates a unique identity for Y-Fest Lai Chau. Folk art troupes from the Mong, Giay, Lu, and Thai ethnic groups participate in performances, showcasing their distinctive cultural features through street parades. Traditional costumes, dances, and songs are presented in an open, interactive space, allowing visitors to connect with local identity during the festival. This is also an opportunity for cultural practitioners to directly introduce their community's heritage.

The appeal of an entertainment event and the desire to enjoy the program make Lai Chau a worthwhile destination with many fascinating experiences.”

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nguyen, Director of Viettel Lai Chau, said that Y-Fest's first visit to the province is a special milestone. The company aims to bring a modern music program while creating many opportunities to experience technology, culture, and unique products. Coordination efforts have been made to ensure a complete and safe experience for the audience. When activities are interconnected, the appeal of music can extend to surrounding cultural spaces and services.

From a musical meeting point to a tourism development opportunity.

To welcome visitors to the event, Lai Chau has set up an exhibition area of approximately 200m² showcasing OCOP products, characteristic agricultural products, and key products; and a food area with over 100 stalls. OCOP products, part of the One Commune One Product Program, along with local agricultural products and dishes, add to the experiential content. Through learning about, tasting, and purchasing, visitors can access the values of Lai Chau through products made by the local people.

With production facilities, cooperatives, restaurants, and individual businesses participating, the event opens up opportunities to meet customers from many localities. During the event, participating units can introduce their products, understand consumer needs, and build brand awareness. Ms. Pham Thi Ha, Director of An Ngan Cordyceps Cooperative, believes that Y-Fest being held in Lai Chau is an opportunity to expand the cooperative's product promotion space to locals and tourists.

To connect the festival with sightseeing tours, businesses and tourist areas are enhancing product promotion, developing promotional programs and special offers, and preparing for visitor arrivals. The event also includes cultural and tourism experiences with the participation of the Top 20 contestants of the Miss Vietnam 2026 pageant. Local authorities are also developing programs to introduce destinations, giving attendees more options to explore after the activities at the square.

That journey continues to expand with the "Footsteps on the Clouds - Conquering the Ancient Stone Road of Pa Vi" mountain climbing competition, scheduled to be held on October 4th in Sin Suoi Ho commune. According to the plan, the event will involve approximately 130 journalists and 400 athletes. The value of the series of activities lies in its ability to connect people, producers, and tourism businesses with the public. As experiences in the square lead visitors to booths, destinations, and exploration journeys, the festival can contribute to spreading the local image, creating more business opportunities, and nurturing tourism appeal from the region's unique identity.
