According to the report presented at the meeting, the Farmers' Association of Duc Long commune currently has 1,189 members operating in 11 branches . In the first nine months of 2026, the Executive Committee of the Farmers' Association of the commune closely followed the leadership of the Party Committee, the guidance of the higher-level Farmers' Association, and the political tasks of the locality, proactively developing work programs and plans and effectively implementing key tasks.
Political and ideological propaganda and education have been given due attention. The Association has seriously implemented Resolution No. 46-NQ/TW of the Politburo on reforming and improving the quality of activities of the Vietnam Farmers' Association; disseminating the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws , and the resolutions of the Farmers' Association at all levels to cadres and members. At the same time, it has strengthened its monitoring of public opinion and sentiment, and promoted the implementation of the two-tiered local government model, contributing to creating consensus among cadres and farmer members.
The work of building the Association's organization continues to be strengthened. Branches maintain regular activities and strictly adhere to the Association's Charter; membership management, development, and fee collection are carried out in accordance with regulations. The Association also focuses on sending staff to training courses to improve their professional skills. In inspection and supervision, the Association has issued plans and organized 7 inspections and supervisions of branches regarding the implementation of the Association's Charter and work tasks; simultaneously, it has coordinated and participated in social supervision and criticism, contributing to the building of the Party and government as prescribed.
Activities supporting members in developing production continued to be implemented effectively. At the time of inspection, the Association was managing a total of 1.7 billion VND in the Farmers' Support Fund, implementing 5 projects for 47 borrowing households. Through entrusted activities with the Social Policy Bank, the Association managed 6 Savings and Loan Groups with 192 borrowing households, with a total outstanding loan balance of over 17 billion VND; all groups were evaluated and rated as good. The management and use of capital sources were carried out for the intended purpose, contributing to helping members expand production and develop the economy . The movement "Farmers competing in excellent production and business, uniting to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty" continued to be promoted. The Association mobilized 288 households to register for the title of excellent production and business households at the commune level. Actively guide members in applying scientific and technological advancements, transforming crop and livestock structures, participating in building new rural areas, protecting the environment, and implementing national target programs.
Besides the achievements, the inspection team also pointed out some shortcomings such as: propaganda work in some branches is not regular; the content of branch activities is still monotonous; the replication of effective economic models is still limited; the application of digital transformation in agricultural production is not uniform; and resources for the Association's activities are still scarce.
Speaking at the working session , Comrade Nguyen Phuong Huy, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association - Head of the inspection team, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Duc Long Commune Farmers' Association . to be achieved in the first nine months of 2026. At the same time, it is requested that the Farmers' Association of the commune continue to closely follow the work program of the higher-level Association; improve the quality of propaganda and branch activities; strengthen inspection and supervision; effectively utilize capital sources to support farmers; promote the construction of economic models, cooperatives, and professional farmers' branches; and strive to complete and exceed the targets of the Association's work and the farmers' movement in 2026.
