The opening ceremony began at 8 PM on the same day, launching an artistic journey that celebrates Vietnam from the depths of its heritage to a global exchange space.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra expressed her belief that the festival would be a bridge to foster friendship, understanding, and trust among nations, working together to build a peaceful, humane, and sustainably developed world for humanity. With the miraculous power of culture, connecting people across all distances and differences, no border can separate empathy and shared aspirations for peace and development.

Mr. Laraze Eloundou Assomo - Director of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, shared, “I hope that in the coming days, the Festival will offer all of us – from delegates and artists to audience members – the opportunity to discover surprises, forge new connections, and take home not only beautiful memories, but also a new understanding of the common values we all share.”

In an atmosphere of excitement, the delegates officially launched the second World Cultural Festival with an opening ceremony at Thang Long Imperial Citadel Square. The program continued with musical performances from Vietnamese and international artists.
