
This is an annual activity of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, aimed at helping new students familiarize themselves with the university environment and learn about their chosen field of study; while also strengthening interaction and connection between students, lecturers, and businesses.
During the program, freshmen of the K49 cohort interacted and exchanged ideas directly with the Faculty leadership about their majors and any concerns they may have during their studies. The Faculty leadership answered questions and provided additional information to help students better understand their majors and guide their learning and training process.
On this occasion, the Faculty, together with businesses, organizations, sponsors, and alumni, awarded more than 100 scholarships, prizes, and financial support totaling over 160 million VND. These programs targeted top-performing students of the K49 cohort, students with excellent academic achievements, students overcoming difficulties, students majoring in Microcircuit Design, students with achievements in scientific research and specialized competitions, and female students of the K49 cohort.

Many businesses are supporting this initiative, including Deo Ca Group, Construction Company 47, Quy Nhon Semiconductor, TMA Solutions Binh Dinh, FPT Software Quy Nhon, Takara Group of Japan ... along with many other organizations and individuals.
In addition to providing scholarships, businesses also partner with the Faculty of Engineering and Technology in professional training and practice. Central Vietnam Consulting and Trading Company Limited sponsored the "BIM in Construction" course; Hung Phat Auto Company Limited donated Hyundai engines to the Mechanical Engineering department; and Dak Lak Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company donated MSB switchgear to the Electrical Engineering department.

Dr. Tran Thanh Thai - Head of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, acknowledged the support of businesses, sponsors, and alumni in assisting students and training activities.

Currently, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology offers training in 6 majors: Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Automotive Engineering Technology, and Mechanical Engineering.
