On October 2nd, the Hai Phong City Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Hung Yen Provincial Red Cross Society and local authorities, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a "Red Cross" house for the family of Ms. Tran Thi Bay, a disadvantaged household in Luu Xa village, Ngu Thien commune (Hung Yen).

The new house, expected to be built on an area of 33 m², is scheduled to be completed in November, with a total cost of approximately 200 million VND.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, representatives from Vinh Bao Resinco Real Estate Investment Company donated 80 million VND, and the Hung Yen Provincial Red Cross Society donated 20 million VND. The remaining amount was borrowed by the family from friends and relatives.
The project was initiated through the joint efforts of Red Cross branches at all levels, the government, sponsors, and the community, helping Mrs. Tran Thi Bay's family have a safe and stable home, enabling them to gradually improve their lives.
This is a practical activity in response to the "80 Days for the Community" program, leading up to the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (November 23, 1946 – November 23, 2026).
