Currently, five communes and wards are implementing the issuance of planting area codes. Specifically, Mang Yang commune has issued 53 codes, including 30 for coffee and 23 for durian; Hoai Nhon Nam ward has issued 4 codes, including 1 for durian and 3 for vegetables and melons; An Khe ward has issued 2 codes for chili peppers; An Phu ward has issued 1 code for coffee; and Ia Grai commune has issued 1 code for durian.

Along with the planting area code, the province has so far issued one durian packaging facility code in An Phu ward, with a capacity of 50-70 tons/day.

To date, the province has a total of 497 registered growing areas covering over 13,174 hectares, including 113 areas serving the domestic market (630.89 hectares) and 384 areas serving exports (over 12,712 hectares). In addition, there are 61 registered packaging facilities exporting to China , with a capacity of 3,570 - 3,840 tons of fresh fruit per day.

According to Deputy Head of the Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection Le Hoai Lam, the issuance of codes is carried out at the commune level, creating more favorable conditions for people, cooperatives, and businesses. However, along with accelerating the process, localities must ensure that the declared information is accurate, the growing areas meet the conditions, and all requirements are fully maintained after the codes are issued. This is the basis for improving traceability, meeting market demands, and increasing the value of Gia Lai's agricultural products.
