The gold medal in the women's quadrant sepak takraw event won by the Vietnamese Sepak Takraw Team at ASIAD 20 bears the mark of the People's Public Security Sports Team with two athletes, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen and Hoang Thi Thu Thao. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen was selected by the coaching staff to be in the starting lineup in the final match against Thailand .

Together with her teammates, Ngoc Huyen competed diligently, contributing to the Vietnamese Sepak Takraw team's 2-1 victory, thereby winning the third Gold Medal for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at ASIAD 20. Hoang Thi Thu Thao was also a member of the Vietnamese Sepak Takraw team in this event.

The participation of two athletes from the Public Security Sports Association further contributed to the overall achievements of Vietnamese sports at ASIAD 20. The attention of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security , the Public Security Sports Association, and the timely encouragement and rewards are a source of motivation for the athletes of the Public Security Sports Training and Competition Center to train with peace of mind, strive to compete, and fulfill their duties in the national team's colors.

Immediately after the Vietnamese Sepak Takraw team won the Gold Medal, Colonel Nguyen Thi Thuy Thanh, Deputy Director of the Political Affairs Department (X03), Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Public Security Sports Association, sent her congratulations to the entire team, including Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen and Hoang Thi Thu Thao.

The Vietnamese sports delegation awarded bonuses to the sepak takraw athletes who just won the gold medal.

According to Colonel Nguyen Thi Thuy Thanh, the Vietnam Public Security Sports Association decided to award a bonus of 50 million VND to Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen, the athlete who directly competed in the final match, and 20 million VND to Hoang Thi Thu Thao, a member of the reserve team.

In addition, T&T Group awarded 100 million VND to Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen and 30 million VND to Hoang Thi Thu Thao to recognize the contributions of the two athletes to the achievements of the Vietnamese Sepak Takraw Team.

Thus, from the bonuses of the Public Security Sports Association and T&T Group, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen received a total of 150 million VND, while Hoang Thi Thu Thao received 50 million VND.

Timely recognition serves as encouragement for the Public Security Sports athletes to continue striving and contributing to the overall achievements of Vietnamese sports on the international stage.
