According to the report, the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hung Commune Party Committee and the Commune Party Secretary led and directed the implementation of documents from higher levels, and intensified propaganda, inspection, and management of the area.
Simultaneously, the organization disseminated directives on drug prevention and control from the Central Government, the province, and relevant agencies; leaders concretized implementation tasks at the local level with 12 plans and 5 decisions; and the commune police issued 16 plans to support the implementation work.
The People's Committee of the commune issued two decisions in May 2026, recognizing 11 hamlets as drug-free. Law enforcement conducted 15 inspections, detecting 3 cases of illegal drug use and processing them. No drug dealers, locations organizing or harboring drug use, or businesses suspected of drug-related crimes have been recorded.
However, inspections revealed that some Party organizations were slow in concretizing the documents for implementation; some content was not closely aligned with the functions, tasks, and actual situation of the locality or unit; and the propaganda work was sometimes untimely, not diverse enough, and not suitable for specific target groups…
In his concluding remarks, Comrade Lam Phuoc Nguyen requested the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee and the Secretary of the Commune Party Committee to build upon the achievements, develop a plan to address the shortcomings pointed out by the inspection team, and focus on effectively implementing key tasks.

Timely identification, development, and replication of good models and effective practices at the grassroots level; timely commendation and rewarding of collectives and individuals with achievements, thereby motivating cadres, soldiers, and the people to actively participate in drug prevention and control in the locality.
