In implementation of Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW dated September 3, 2026, of the Secretariat of the Central Committee and Guidance No. 08-HD/BTGTW dated September 21, 2026, of the Central Propaganda Department on organizing the commemoration of major national holidays and important events in the period 2026-2030 (hereinafter referred to as Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW and Guidance No. 08-HD/BTGTW) ; and Official Letter No. 1434-CV/DU dated September 28, 2026, of the Party Committee of the Government on organizing the commemoration of major national holidays and important events in the period 2026-2030, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade requests subordinate Party committees to focus on leading and directing the effective implementation of the following key tasks:
Thoroughly understand, concretize, and strictly implement Conclusion No. 91-KL/TW, Guidance No. 08-HD/BTGTW, and Official Letter No. 1434-CV/ĐU dated September 28, 2026, of the Party Committee of the Government on organizing the commemoration of major national holidays and important events in the period 2026-2030. Based on the list of major holidays and important historical events in the period 2026-2030, proactively develop or integrate them into annual work programs and plans, in accordance with functions, tasks, and actual conditions; ensuring uniformity, synchronicity, effectiveness, substance, and avoiding duplication.
At the same time, link commemorative activities with the implementation of political tasks. Strengthen information dissemination, propaganda, and education on history and traditions, linking them with the implementation of the Party's 14th National Congress Resolution, the Central Committee's strategic resolutions, and the political tasks of ministries and sectors; innovate the content and methods of propaganda, enhance the effectiveness of the press, publishing, and other modern communication methods, especially the application of science, technology, and digital transformation . Strengthen coordination, effectively utilize resources, and limit overlapping and wasteful investments.
Furthermore, subordinate Party committees proactively monitor the ideological situation, public opinion, and information on the internet. They promptly provide official information, guide public opinion, combat false information and historical distortions, and strengthen external communication, promoting the history, culture, country, and people of Vietnam, contributing to consolidating the people's trust and creating social consensus.
Alongside promoting emulation movements, selecting exemplary projects and tasks linked to major national holidays and important historical events, ensuring practicality, effectiveness, lasting impact, and value, in accordance with the functions and tasks of each agency and unit. Leaders should direct socio -political organizations to strengthen the mobilization of members to participate in commemorative activities; incorporating traditional education, gratitude, and the promotion of historical values into movements and campaigns.
Furthermore, strengthen inspection, supervision, and evaluation of implementation. Party committees and leaders directly lead, direct, and are responsible for the quality and effectiveness of activities within their scope of management; clearly assign responsibilities and ensure proper authority. After major events, conduct evaluations, draw lessons learned, and promptly address shortcomings.
The Standing Committee of the Ministry's Party Committee requests that all subordinate Party committees seriously implement the above contents.
