This activity contributes to the implementation of Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW dated January 7, 2026, of the Politburo on the development of Vietnamese culture, while also strengthening coordination among localities in organizing activities at the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village.

Within the framework of the program, the Hanoi People's Committee and 10 provinces and cities signed a cooperation agreement. The cooperation between Hanoi and Dak Lak province focuses on preserving and promoting the cultural values of ethnic groups; researching, collecting, and introducing distinctive cultural values; developing cultural and tourism products; and organizing activities at the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village.
The two localities aim to establish a regular, proactive, and long-term cooperation mechanism; leveraging the resources and strengths of each side in organizing events, education, heritage preservation, cultural product development, tourism, media, promotion, and digital transformation .

The coordination regulations also focus on respecting and promoting the leading role of ethnic communities and artisans; paying attention to the living conditions, cultural practices, and legitimate rights of participants. The introduction and performance of heritage are carried out in accordance with the cultural space and context, ensuring authenticity, linking preservation with education , tourism development, and sustainable livelihoods.
For Dak Lak province, this collaborative activity creates more opportunities to introduce cultural, artistic, culinary , and traditional craft values to the public in Hanoi and tourists; at the same time, it expands exchanges between communities, connecting cultural promotion with the introduction of the province's tourist destinations and products.

Following the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Y Nhuan Byă visited and encouraged the artisans from Dak Lak who are living and participating in activities at the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ede ethnic group from Dak Lak has been participating in daily activities at the Village since 2017. Through community activities, folk song and dance performances, and interactions with tourists, the artisans contribute to maintaining and showcasing the unique cultural values of the Ede people within the "common home" of Vietnamese ethnic groups.

Dak Lak artisans also participate in many cultural programs at the Village. At the "Spring Festival Across the Nation" in 2026, the province's artisan delegation introduced unique cultural features, including the traditional peace-praying ceremony of the Ede people. These activities contribute to bringing Dak Lak culture closer to the public, domestic and international tourists.
During the visit, Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Y Nhuan Byă requested the management unit of the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village to continue paying attention and creating favorable conditions for Dak Lak artisans to live, practice, and introduce traditional culture to a large number of tourists.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to strengthen coordination with the Village management unit, regularly monitor the living conditions, thoughts, and aspirations of the artisans; promptly advise on resolving difficulties and propose appropriate support. At the same time, proactively connect exchange programs, performances, and the teaching of traditional culture with activities promoting Dak Lak's culture and tourism; promote the leading role of artisans and preserve the unique values of each ethnic community.
The visit demonstrates the concern of the leaders of Dak Lak province for the team of artisans who are persistently practicing, preserving, and passing on the heritage; and at the same time contributes to strengthening the connection between Dak Lak and the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village in preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic groups associated with promoting the image of the locality.
