The Student Scientific Research Award has been expanded to include three key areas: engineering and technology; socio -economic and humanities; and natural sciences and medicine.

With two main categories, including projects with scientific publications and projects with applied products, innovation, and entrepreneurship, the awards for the 2025-2026 academic year show significant progress. Many projects have been published internationally in prestigious journals (WoS/Scopus), presented at scientific conferences, or have models, products, and projects with potential for development, application, and innovative entrepreneurship.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 First Prizes (20 million VND/prize), 4 Second Prizes (15 million VND/prize), 4 Third Prizes (8 million VND/prize), and 3 Consolation Prizes (5 million VND/prize) to student groups/individuals with outstanding topics and projects.

The four projects awarded first prize include: Quantum model for transformer fault diagnosis: Efficient variational classifier with domain-specific feature coding (students from the University of Technology); Determinants of digital trust of e-consumers in the digital era: Moderating effects of perceived AI and deepfake risk (group of students from the University of Economics); Research proposing a deep learning model to improve reliability in long-term time series forecasting and the ShieldNet project - A multi-tiered AI system to manage domain names, control malicious content, and protect internet users (students/group of students from the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology).

The organizing committee also awarded prizes for the best presentation at the judging panels and the most popular poster; and awarded first, second, and third place overall prizes to the schools and units with the most winning students.

On this occasion, Da Nang University is organizing the 2026 Young Innovators Festival to introduce and exhibit a number of research and innovation products that have been applied and have great potential for further development and future startup ventures.
