At the conference, the Pleiku Ward Trade Union announced the decision to recognize union members and establish 7 grassroots trade unions at the following enterprises: Le Dao Gia Lai Co., Ltd.; Phuoc Thinh Phat Gia Lai Trading and Transportation Co., Ltd.; Hong Son Tay Nguyen Education Co., Ltd.; Agria Gia Lai Trading Co., Ltd.; Khoi Nguyen Pharma Co., Ltd.; Bao Hoang Co., Ltd.; and Au Lac Technology Co., Ltd.
At the same time, decisions were announced recognizing the Executive Committee, the Inspection Committee, and the positions within the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee of 7 grassroots trade unions for the 2026-2030 term.
On this occasion, the Pleiku Ward Trade Union launched the "Pleiku Ward Trade Union Digital Library" model, aiming to build a centralized digital information address so that trade union officials, members, and workers can proactively search, study, and access documents anytime, anywhere through internet-connected devices.
The "Pleiku Ward Trade Union Digital Library" comprises 7 sections: General information about the Trade Union system; Trade Union activities; Laws and rights of workers; Occupational safety and health; Party policies and resolutions; Promoting the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, methods, and style in the new development period; and Health and beauty in labor.
The library's content is regularly updated to meet practical needs, with the motto "Easy to find - easy to understand - easy to use - practical for members".
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Xuan - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Pleiku Ward, and Chairwoman of the Pleiku Ward Trade Union - said that the establishment of grassroots trade unions contributes to expanding the network for gathering, connecting, caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
Meanwhile, the "Digital Library" is a technology-based solution that creates an additional channel for providing information, knowledge, and support to union members and workers in a more convenient and practical way.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Xuan suggested that after establishment, grassroots trade unions should quickly stabilize their organization and assign tasks; proactively grasp the employment situation, income, living conditions, thoughts, and aspirations of union members and workers; and select activities suitable to the specific characteristics of each unit, aiming for effectiveness and practical benefits for union members.
