Danang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC) is a large-scale industrial manufacturing enterprise in the city, currently employing nearly 1,800 workers. The company's products are consumed domestically and exported to more than 50 countries and territories.
According to the report, DRC's revenue in 2023 was VND 4,657 billion. In 2025, revenue is projected to reach VND 5,174 billion, a 3% increase compared to 2024; profit is expected to reach VND 150 billion.
In 2026, the company will continue to expand the production of PCR/LTR tires, all-steel radial tires, and develop new products to serve the Ministry of Defense , deep-water ports, and the railway industry; aiming for nearly 20% growth compared to 2025.
However, production and business activities are being affected by geopolitical developments, rising raw material costs, payment terms from suppliers, and reduced customer orders.
In light of these challenges, the company is implementing solutions to maintain production, stabilize the market, and strive to achieve business results equivalent to those of 2025.
Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung assessed that businesses still have much room to expand their markets, especially in export activities. The city will pay attention to, accompany, and support businesses in overcoming difficulties and obstacles, creating favorable conditions for businesses to develop production and business.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Manh Hung, urged businesses to continue focusing on developing the domestic market, promoting and introducing their products, and utilizing trade promotion and networking channels to expand their market reach.
In the long term, the city aims to guide businesses towards green development, meeting environmental and green production standards. This is a crucial condition for businesses to improve their access to capital and technology, expand their markets, and participate more deeply in the supply chain.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee stated that the city will support businesses in finding and connecting with new projects; support brand promotion, export promotion, and connection with major partners and businesses. At the same time, the city will build a supply-demand network connecting businesses with universities, research institutes, and training facilities to meet the human resource needs of businesses.
Regarding specific difficulties and obstacles related to land, environment, investment location, and project procedures, the city will direct relevant agencies to review and address them, creating favorable conditions for businesses to promptly implement their projects.
