On the morning of October 2nd, Military Region 3 announced the decision to establish Branch 2 of the Northern Cadet School within Military Region 3. Branch 2 will be stationed in Thuy Nguyen Ward ( Hai Phong ).
District 3 Youth School
Military Region 3 directly leads, manages, and is fully responsible for Party work; it also carries out the deployment, appointment, selection, and recruitment of officers and professional soldiers, as well as student enrollment and training. Here, students receive secondary and high school education according to the curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Training , combined with political education, military training, physical training, and military discipline, aiming for comprehensive development in knowledge, political acumen, and military skills.

The school has 8 classrooms with a total area of ​​500 m², fully equipped with teaching and learning facilities, including newly installed English and computer labs, in line with the current education program.

Branch 2 of the Northern Military Cadet School in Military Region 3 is under the professional guidance of the Northern Military Cadet School and the Department of Education and Training of Hai Phong City.

The school's function is to nurture and train young people who meet the standards of political qualities, ethics, health, and qualifications to create a source of cadres for the task of defending the Fatherland and building and developing the country; to provide secondary and high school education according to the general education program of the Ministry of Education and Training, closely combined with political education, military training, physical training, and the demeanor of a soldier to become outstanding citizens, comprehensively developed, possessing both knowledge and culture as well as political acumen and military skills…

Previously, to prepare for the establishment and operation of Branch 2 of the Northern Military Cadet School, Military Region 3 selected and deployed 100 officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers to serve as the management and support staff. At the same time, the Military Region organized the recruitment and selection of 140 students from the region according to the assigned quota and prepared to receive an additional 20 students from Military Region 1, bringing the total to 160 students, arranged into 2 classes of grade 6 and 2 classes of grade 10. The Military Region also submitted a request to the Ministry of National Defense for the recruitment of 52 teachers to serve in the teaching staff at the Branch.
