On October 6th, the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a statement announcing that, at the invitation of Prime Minister Hun Manet, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung will pay an official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia from October 9-10, 2026.
According to a press release cited by a VNA correspondent in Phnom Penh, during the visit, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung will have an audience with King Norodom Sihamoni and Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk; pay a private courtesy call on Senate President Hun Sen and National Assembly President Khuon Sudary; and hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Hun Manet.
The leaders of the two countries will discuss further strengthening traditional friendly relations and expanding cooperation for mutual benefit, as well as exchanging views on regional and international issues of common concern.
The statement said that Prime Minister Le Minh Hung's official visit would further strengthen the close relationship and solidarity between Cambodia and Vietnam, and affirm the two countries' shared determination to continue to enhance and deepen bilateral relations.
