At 8 PM on October 4th, 2026, the closing ceremony of the Second World Cultural Festival officially took place at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel historical site in Hanoi. The event was broadcast live on VTV1 and the national digital platform VTVgo of Vietnam Television, marking the end of the four-day series of multinational cultural integration (from October 1st to 4th, 2026).

With the overarching theme "Colors Converge - Hand in Hand Towards the Future," the closing ceremony conveyed the core message "Closing the festival - Opening a new journey of connection." This was a time to celebrate the spirit of unity, spread the cultural identity of the continents, and open up opportunities for long-term international cooperation.
The program's script was meticulously structured into three main chapters: "Colors Converge," "Vietnam - A Living Heritage Land," and "Holding Hands Towards the Future." Audiences enjoyed spectacular performances combining traditional elements with modern styles, such as the mashup of "Phong Nu" and "Co Doi Thuong Ngan," the medley of "Ho Hue, " "Ly Muoi Thuong," and "Ly Ngua O," and the work "Da Co Hoai Lang," all imbued with the essence of Vietnamese heritage.

The evening featured renowned artists including People's Artist Diệu Hương, People's Artist Quế Trần, Meritorious Artist Võ Minh Lâm, Hương Tràm, Anh Tú, and singer Kiều Anh. In addition, the event included performances by the UPRIZE group, the Sao Tuổi Thơ Club, the Bamboo Dance Troupe, the Mộc Cầm Traditional Orchestra, and the Vietnam Puppet Theatre.
In addition to performances from domestic artists, the event also featured art troupes from 10 countries including Belgium, Bulgaria, Cambodia, India, Iran, Mexico, Myanmar, Philippines , Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
