In September, Vietnam exported approximately 124,000 tons of coffee, a 53% increase compared to the same period in 2025. This development contributed to a significantly higher total coffee export volume in the first nine months compared to the same period in 2025, indicating that demand for delivery and trade activities remain strong.

Specifically, in the past nine months, Vietnam achieved an export volume of nearly 1.5 million tons of coffee, an increase of 16.2% compared to the same period in 2025. Export turnover reached approximately 6.6 billion USD, a decrease of 7% compared to the same period, mainly due to lower export prices than the previous year. The average export price index for coffee in the first nine months decreased by 16.66% compared to the same period last year.

Despite pressure on export prices, strong volume growth remains a notable point for Vietnam's coffee industry. In particular, the 53% increase in September indicates improving export activity towards the end of the 2025-2026 crop year.

Entering the 2026-2027 coffee production season (starting in November 2026), the new supply is expected to provide further impetus for export activities in the remaining months of this year.

Improving quality, increasing the proportion of processed products, and diversifying markets continue to be important directions for improving the export value of Vietnamese coffee.
