Opening night of "Heritage Convergence - Shaping the Future"
The opening ceremony, at 8 PM on October 1, 2026, at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, will launch an artistic journey celebrating Vietnam from the depths of its heritage to a global exchange space.
Through its three parts, the program blends traditional heritage with contemporary artistic language.
“Vietnam in Diverse Colors” recreates the identity of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups through the performance “ Mother’s Lullaby,” a medley of folk songs from the three regions, Hue Royal Court Music, the Song of the Southern Land, and the Quan Ho melodies of Bac Ninh .

"Convergence of Five Continents" is a vibrant space showcasing the diverse cultural heritage of humanity, featuring performances from international art troupes (China, Russia, Peru, Bangladesh, Indonesia , Pakistan, Israel, Azerbaijan, Laos, Ukraine, South Korea, etc.).
"Developing and brightening the future," the vitality of Gen Z is ignited as folk elements blend with Rap, Hip-hop, and EDM through performances by Hoa Minzy, Duc Phuc, Truc Nhan, Ha Myo, and Hoang Bach.
Street parade "Colors of the Five Continents"
The "Colors of Five Continents" street parade will begin at 4 PM on October 3rd in the Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian area. The procession will start from the area in front of the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism headquarters, pass by Ba Kieu Temple, and end at the main stage in Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.
Fifteen international art troupes from Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America brought diverse and rich cultural colors. Vietnamese artisans and artists showcased the ao dai and traditional costumes.
The opening artistic performance is expected to include the following acts: Aspiration for Peace, New Sunshine in Hanoi, Continuing the Story of Peace, Invoking the Name, Hanoi 12 Seasons of Flowers, Vietnam Proudly Stepping Towards the Future ...
Traditional arts of the capital city were showcased through puppet shows, the "Con đĩ đánh bồng" dance, circus performances, and the "Bài Bông" dance.
The program combines stage performances with pedestrian street spaces, creating an open and vibrant cultural exchange environment that showcases the beauty, identity, and distinctive cultural values of the participating countries.
"Concert of Five Continents": An Open and Interconnected Space
At the Thang Long Imperial Citadel's Circular Stage, the "Concert of Five Continents" series on October 2-3 opened up a space for direct interaction between artists and the public, thereby introducing the diversity of art forms, music, and cultural identities from many regions around the world, bridging the gap between artists and the audience.

Performing arts troupes from various continents participated in the performances, showcasing different forms of music, musical instruments, and unique aspects of each nation's cultural life, contributing to increased understanding and connection between cultures.
The program combines traditional cultural values with modern methods of expression and technology through activities such as Cultural Cosplay - A Crossover of Vietnamese Colors and the Audition - Developing with Vietnamese Culture, produced by VTC. Through these activities, heritage values are approached in a new way, demonstrating that heritage is not static but continuously vibrant and relevant in the rhythm of modern life.
Closing night of "Colors Converge - Hand in Hand Towards the Future"
Concluding four vibrant days of festivities, the Closing Ceremony at 8 PM on October 4th was a poignant moment to honor and ignite hope for a long-term collaborative journey with the core message: "Closing the festival - Opening a new journey of connection . "

The mashup performances of Phong Nu - Co Doi Thuong Ngan , the medley of Hue folk songs - Ly Muoi Thuong - Ly Ngua O , Da Co Hoai Lang ... celebrate Vietnam - a land of living heritage.
The grand finale was explosive as the song "Hand in Hand" was performed, featuring all the Vietnamese and international artists, creating a beautiful image of unity under the Hanoi sky – affirming that culture is the most enduring bridge to peace and friendship.
