Held for the first time, the market took place over two days, October 2nd and 3rd, with the participation of 20 stalls from 7 villages, local producers, and many units from the city.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tan Nghiep, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuoc Tra commune, the locality has great potential for development from its indigenous products, landscapes, historical relics, and traditional cultural values. To effectively exploit these potentials, the commune focuses on linking production development with market demand; emphasizing quality, building product brands, and strengthening consumption linkages, thereby creating livelihoods and increasing income for the people.

Through this market fair, Phuoc Tra commune hopes that OCOP products, agricultural products, and local specialties will be introduced more widely, creating more opportunities for consumption connections. This is also an opportunity for localities, businesses, cooperatives, and production facilities to exchange experiences, understand needs, and gradually form linkages suitable to the conditions and strengths of each locality.

Along with trade activities, the event included culinary competitions, cultural exchanges, traditional costume shows, and the launch of the Gong Culture Club, all aimed at introducing the unique characteristics of the Phuoc Tra highlands to locals and tourists.
