Donated 500 sets of motorcycle tires and inner tubes to union members.

Representatives from Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company presented a symbolic check for 500 sets of motorcycle inner tubes and tires to support union members in Can Tho City.

Mr. Tran Van Chinh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City; Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , President of the Can Tho Labor Union; and representatives from relevant units attended the event.

At the event, Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company (Casumina) donated 500 sets of inner tubes and tires (for motorcycles) to union members and workers at An Nghiep Industrial Park. The program prioritized union members with difficult circumstances, low incomes, who frequently use motorcycles for work and need to replace tires and inner tubes. Hong Duc Company Limited provided assistance with tire removal and installation for union members and workers.

Union members and workers received free assistance with replacing inner tubes and tires on their motorbikes at the program.

Leaders of the Can Tho City Federation of Labor, along with representatives from various units and union members and workers, participated in the program "Accompanying Union Members - Safety on Every Journey".

Speaking at the program, Ms. Tran Tu Nhien, Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Union, emphasized that supporting the provision of motorcycle tires and inner tubes contributes to reducing vehicle repair costs and protecting the safety of workers on their daily commutes from home to work. She stressed that welfare activities should be targeted and closely aligned with actual needs; at the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the mobilization of social resources and promote the role of grassroots trade unions in promptly identifying and proposing support for union members and workers.
