From the beginning of the year, the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee focused on leading and directing the implementation of solutions to ensure security and order, prevent and combat crime, and build a nationwide movement to protect national security.
All levels and sectors should proactively concretize these through appropriate programs and plans, focusing on key areas such as economic security, worker security, cybersecurity, drug prevention and control, fire prevention and fighting, and ensuring traffic order and safety.
Public awareness and mobilization efforts have been emphasized. Over the past nine months, localities, agencies, and units have organized 533 awareness sessions, attracting nearly 8,000 participants; provided 80 news bulletins on local radio systems; distributed 2,400 notices and warnings about criminal methods and tactics; and shared 1,700 news bulletins on Zalo groups in residential areas.
The nationwide movement to protect national security continues to be strengthened, improving in quality and effectiveness, in line with the two-tiered local government model. The entire province has established and consolidated 52 models; guided the establishment of 111 new models; and maintained 9 exemplary operational models.

Notably, the public provided 828 valuable pieces of information, helping authorities to promptly handle security and order-related incidents. Local authorities received and mediated 294 cases, contributing to reducing the risk of hotspots and complex incidents.
Enhancing the role of the people has created an important source of information from the grassroots, helping functional forces proactively identify and handle problems arising right in residential areas.
Based on a thorough understanding of the situation, the Tay Ninh Provincial Police force has strengthened the management of key areas and targets; organized intensive campaigns to attack and suppress crime, ensuring security and order during holidays, Tet (Lunar New Year), and important political events.
In the first nine months of 2026, the province recorded 735 social order crimes, resulting in 53 deaths and 134 injuries. Authorities investigated and clarified 686 cases, achieving a 93.3% success rate, arresting 1,440 suspects; they also eradicated 242 gambling and prostitution rings, and processed 1,632 individuals.
Drug prevention and control remains a top priority. Forces are strengthening the management of drug addicts and illegal drug users; controlling goods and vehicles passing through border gates; and eradicating drug storage and illegal drug use hotspots. A 30-day intensive campaign to comprehensively review, crack down on, and clean up the area has been implemented decisively, contributing to the goal of building a drug-free Tay Ninh by 2030, as outlined in Resolution No. 25-NQ/TU dated April 3, 2026, of the Provincial Party Committee.
Along the border and in inland areas, functional forces are focusing on combating smuggling, trade fraud, prohibited goods, counterfeit goods, and substandard goods; and strengthening inspections and handling violations related to the environment and food safety.
State management of security and order, linked with digital transformation and the implementation of Project 06, has been strengthened. Functional forces inspected 3,971 businesses operating under conditions related to security and order, and issued violation notices in 132 cases.

Traffic order and safety continued to be ensured. Compared to the same period in 2025, traffic accidents decreased in all three criteria: 334 incidents occurred, a decrease of 23.22%; 291 deaths occurred, a decrease of 12.61%; and 91 injuries occurred, a decrease of 47.09%. Throughout the province, there were 18 fires, resulting in 4 injuries and property damage of approximately 9 billion VND; the fire and explosion situation was basically under control.
National defense, security, and internal affairs work was closely led and directed. The province completed 100% of the targets for selecting and recruiting citizens for military service and fulfilling their obligations to participate in the People's Public Security Force in 2026; organized combat exercises at the commune and ward levels within the defense zone according to plan, and strictly maintained training and combat readiness.
Major General Vu Nhu Ha, Director of the Tay Ninh Provincial Police, said that in the coming time, the province will continue to mobilize the combined strength of the entire political system and the people; proactively resolve conflicts at the grassroots level, and replicate effective crime prevention and control models.
Authorities continue to maintain a firm grasp of the area and targets, intensify patrols and controls, combat emerging types of crime, and enhance the effectiveness of state management in security and order, contributing to maintaining the peaceful lives of the people and creating a foundation for Tay Ninh's development in the new phase.
