'World Culture Day in Hanoi' held for the first time in Hanoi
(CLO) “World Culture Day in Hanoi” is an international cultural exchange event, with the goal of making Hanoi a center of global cultural exchange.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued a plan to organize the first "World Culture Day in Hanoi" program.
Accordingly, “ World Cultural Day in Hanoi” is an international cultural event, with the goal of making Hanoi a center of global cultural exchange.
The event will take place from October 3 to 5, 2025 at many cultural venues in the capital, of which Thang Long Imperial Citadel and Hanoi Book Street 19/12 are the two main spaces. All local and international residents and tourists can attend for free.
Thang Long Imperial Citadel is one of the main spaces where the events of "World Culture Day in Hanoi" take place.
"World Culture Day in Hanoi" includes a series of cultural and artistic events in the form of festivals. Activities taking place at Thang Long Imperial Citadel include: Hanoi World Culture Festival; Hanoi International Cuisine program; film screening program; Hanoi International Folk Dance program; Hanoi International Fine Arts program; Ao Dai Festival. Hanoi International Book Festival program takes place from October 4-5 at Hanoi Book Street December 19.
One of the highlights of the program is the opening ceremony on October 3 and closing ceremony on October 5, at Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
The event also incorporates experiential spaces such as cuisine, handicrafts, tourism promotion booths and creative commerce. These activities create opportunities for businesses, artists and the public to connect directly, increasing interaction and experience.
Developing “World Culture Day in Hanoi” into a regular event associated with a meaningful time of the year for the capital (October 10) contributes to positioning Hanoi as a center of international cultural exchange, building an international cultural brand for Hanoi; promoting Vietnamese culture and arts to the world and learning international cultural values and quintessence.
