The 2nd World Culture Festival in Hanoi brought together 50 countries and international organizations, featuring a wide range of cultural, artistic, culinary, and cultural exchange activities. Not only was it larger in scale than the first festival, but it also created more spaces for cultures to meet, interact, and share their unique values right here in Hanoi.
From music and cuisine to performing arts and youth activities, the festival creates direct points of contact between locals, tourists, and cultures around the world. Through this, the image of Vietnam, Hanoi, and the country's cultural values and heritage gain a new space to be introduced and connected with international friends.

At the Thang Long Imperial Citadel's Circular Stage, the "Concert of Five Continents" series opens up a space for direct interaction between artists and the public, thereby showcasing the diversity of art forms, music, and cultural identities from many regions around the world.
Performing arts troupes from various continents participated in the performances, showcasing different forms of music, musical instruments, and unique aspects of each nation's cultural life, contributing to increased understanding and connection between cultures.
Ms. Charishma, a dance teacher at the Indian Cultural Center in Hanoi, said this was her second time participating in the festival with the performing group. The artists presented Kuchipudi performances, a traditional dance form from South India, including performances by Vietnamese female students and children.
From her performance experiences, she noticed similarities in the love of art and connection to cultural roots between Vietnamese and Indian people. According to Charishma, each country has its own art forms, and the appreciation for tradition and the desire to introduce their cultural values to other countries is a crucial point of convergence.
A notable aspect of the festival is the way traditional values are presented in new forms of expression. Programs such as "Cultural Cosplay - A Crossroads of Vietnamese Culture" and "Audition - Developing with Vietnamese Culture" combine traditional cultural elements with modern technology and presentation methods.

At the Thang Long Imperial Citadel stage, the art program "Cultural Cosplay - International Cultural Exchange" created a youthful and vibrant atmosphere, aiming to bring culture and art closer to the younger generation through a form of expression that is gaining popularity among young people.
Cosplay, which started as a form of dressing up as characters from comics, movies, games, or other popular culture products, has evolved into a widespread cultural phenomenon in many countries.
In Vietnam, this activity also demonstrates the ability of young people to absorb and transform international cultural materials. Skills such as makeup, costume design, prop making, and performing arts not only create entertainment but also become competencies linked to the creative ecosystem in the fields of gaming, film, media, and digital entertainment.

At this cultural space, Vietnamese cuisine also has the opportunity to be introduced to international friends. The traditional sausage-making village of Uoc Le participated in the event with the desire to introduce its traditional products, while connecting with domestic and international partners and diners.
According to artisan Dang Hong Son, Chairman of the Traditional Pork Sausage and Ham Village Association of Uoc Le, the association aims to introduce the finest, highest-quality products, ensuring they are delicious, clean, and safe, to everyone. Through this, customers can directly enjoy and experience the distinctive flavor and quality of traditional Uoc Le pork sausage and ham. At the same time, they also want to convey a message about the connection, exchange, and continued development of Vietnamese cuisine on the international stage.
The festival space is not only for art troupes or participating organizations but also becomes a place for people to directly experience. Ms. Kim Yen (Hanoi) said she was very happy to bring her family to visit Thang Long Imperial Citadel and immerse themselves in the 2nd World Cultural Festival.
"In my opinion, this year's event is quite large in scale, with elaborately planned programs and more distinctive features compared to the first World Cultural Festival. The diverse spaces allow people to directly explore, interact with, and learn about the cultures of many countries. Personally, I am very happy that an international cultural event like this has attracted so many people and created a vibrant atmosphere of exchange right here in Hanoi," shared Ms. Kim Yen.

Minh Ngoc, a visitor to the festival, shared: "I found this year's festival quite interesting because there were many areas to explore, from food and music to cultural activities from many countries. I was very impressed with the performances from other countries. Through them, I learned more about the cultures of other countries and felt proud that Vietnamese culture was introduced to international friends."
Through encounters, sharing, and direct experiences, the 2nd World Culture Festival in Hanoi not only brings cultures closer together but also serves as a cultural "bridge" between Vietnam and international friends, strongly spreading the image of a friendly and culturally rich Vietnam to the world.
