Second World Culture Festival in Hanoi - 2026

To celebrate the power of culture in uniting people and promoting world peace, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Hanoi People's Committee are jointly organizing the "Second World Culture Festival in Hanoi" in 2026 with the theme "Convergence of Heritage - Shaping the Future". The festival will take place from October 1-4, 2026, at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Central Relic Site – a world cultural heritage site, the heart of Hanoi's thousand-year-old cultural heritage, and a witness to the historical flows and cultural exchanges of the capital city. This year's festival holds special significance as it coincides with the 50th anniversary of Vietnam's membership in UNESCO.
