From October 1st to October 4th, 2026, the second World Culture Festival in Hanoi will officially take place within the Thang Long Imperial Citadel World Heritage site.

With the theme "Convergence of Heritage – Shaping the Future," the event aims to become an annual international-level cultural diplomacy activity, using art as a bridge to strengthen solidarity and exchange between Vietnam and friends around the world .

The event was directly supervised by the Hanoi People's Committee, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, and the Hanoi Tourism Corporation.

The main activities at the Festival include: World Cultural Village & Heritage Space: Featuring approximately 50 cultural spaces representing various countries and traditional Vietnamese cultural spaces, operated by the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giám Cultural and Scientific Activities Center.
