The organizers said the event brought together representatives from 50 countries and international organizations, featuring art, music , cuisine, film, fashion, and cultural experiences.
The opening ceremony will take place on the evening of October 1st at Thang Long Imperial Citadel with the theme "Gathering Heritage - Shaping the Future". The program will showcase Vietnamese cultural values through folk songs from the three regions, Hue Royal Court Music, Quan Ho folk songs from Bac Ninh, along with performances combining traditional elements with Rap, Hip-hop, and EDM.

Many domestic and international artists performed at the event.
Alongside this were performances by international art troupes, creating a space for cultural exchange among diverse groups.
As part of the outdoor activities, "Colors of Five Continents" is a street parade in the Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian area, featuring 15 international art troupes from Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America. The troupes will perform alongside Vietnamese artisans and artists in traditional costumes.

At Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the "Concert of Five Continents" brings artists from many countries to perform, showcasing various musical forms and characteristic instruments. The program simultaneously combines traditional elements with modern performance methods and technology, aiming for a new approach to heritage values.

The public can also explore the " World Culture Village," showcasing handicrafts, heritage, and unique cultural features of participating countries; enjoy cuisine at the "Five Continents Food Festival" with 35 stalls; watch film programs featuring 20 countries; and learn about the traditional costumes of 15 countries.

The public experience area showcases traditional Vietnamese folk games such as tug-of-war and O An Quan (a traditional board game), along with Festival Games, interactive minigames, and virtual reality experiences about heritage. International delegates also have the opportunity to visit and experience the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village.

This year's festival features 45 cultural spaces, 19 international art troupes, and numerous activities taking place over four days. The event is held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam's membership in UNESCO, and also serves as a space for cultures to meet, share, and showcase the unique values of each nation.
