Amidst the rhythms of music , the vibrant colors of costumes, and the rich, distinctive performances, domestic and international art troupes come together, interact, and present to the public a diverse cultural tapestry in the heart of the capital city.

Attending the program were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, Director of the International Cooperation Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) Nguyen Phuong Hoa, and Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Pham Tuan Long.
Also attending were representatives from several units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi City; and ambassadors and representatives from embassies participating in the Festival.

In his opening remarks, the Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Pham Tuan Long, emphasized that the participation of international art troupes on this occasion created a vibrant, open, and emotionally rich international cultural gathering.
The festival creates a cultural space where different cultures can meet, interact, share, and be appreciated. Art is brought out of the stage, integrated into the lives of locals and visitors, becoming an integral part of the festival.




Ho Guom pedestrian street is vibrant with the colors of cultures from all over the world.
This is also a way to promote the value of the special national heritage of Ho Guom Lake, a historical and cultural symbol of Hanoi, in an open cultural space where tradition meets the contemporary, art reaches the community, and connects friends from all over the world.
“The ‘ Colors of the Five Continents’ Street Festival is therefore one of the festivals of art, an affirmation of the power of culture in connecting people. Culture becomes a bridge for us to understand each other, appreciate each other more, and together strive towards peace, friendship, and development,” Mr. Pham Tuan Long affirmed.

With the theme " Convergence of Heritage - Shaping the Future ," the Festival of Colors from Five Continents is designed as an open and vibrant space for cultural exchange. Through the ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress), performing arts, and street activities, the program showcases the unique values of Vietnamese culture. At the same time, it creates opportunities for participating countries to share, exchange, and celebrate the distinctive cultural characteristics of each nation.
The festival features performances by art troupes and cultural organizations from Austria, Angola, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, China, Iran, Laos, Mongolia, Morocco, the Philippines, Spain , Ukraine, Peru, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.

A highlight of the festival was the parade of Vietnamese ao dai (traditional dress) combined with traditional costumes from other countries, bringing together over 1,000 people. The flowing Vietnamese ao dai, along with the colorful traditional costumes of various nations, created a diverse and rich cultural tapestry right in the heart of the capital city.

In addition, the participation of international art troupes has brought forth many unique art forms and cultural heritages.
The program also encourages the participation of multi-generational families, aiming to build a culturally rich and communal space where generations, communities, and cultures can coexist, interact, and connect.

The performance points along the parade route around Hoan Kiem Lake include the route from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, past Ba Kieu Temple, and ending at the main stage in Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.
Throughout the event, locals and tourists enjoyed musical performances, traditional arts, and costume shows. The combination of Vietnamese art with international art troupes transformed the pedestrian area around Ho Guom Lake into an open cultural stage, where art was not only performed on stage but also directly accessible to the people and tourists.
