
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha said that in response to Vietnam Culture Day 2026, the city is implementing a series of diverse activities aimed at honoring traditional cultural values, arousing patriotism, solidarity, and national pride.
Cultural, artistic, and sports programs are designed to suit the conditions of each locality, creating opportunities for people to participate in and enjoy cultural values. Every citizen and every family actively participates in local cultural activities, protects historical sites, preserves good customs and traditions, and builds civilized behavior in public places.

Within the framework of the program, Hanoi signed cooperation agreements with 10 provinces and cities, including Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Son La, Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Hue City, and Can Tho City, to organize activities at the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village. These activities contribute to strengthening linkages between localities in preserving and promoting the cultural values of ethnic groups.
On October 3rd and 4th, the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village hosted exhibitions, performances, cultural exchanges, and experiences; showcasing the cultural space of Thang Long - Hanoi, along with 20 booths promoting traditional craft village products, OCOP products, and other typical products of the city.
The Vietnamese Culture Day program in Hanoi is scheduled to take place from November 21 to 24 at the Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian street (Hanoi).
