According to the organizers, the second World Culture Festival in Hanoi comprises eight key activities, with the "World Culture Village" being the central event, taking place at Thang Long Imperial Citadel from October 1-4. Approximately 50 booths from various countries are expected to be showcased there, along with a "Vietnamese Cultural Space" to highlight traditional Vietnamese identity within the overall event.
Alongside this is the "Concert of Five Continents" music festival, taking place over four days at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, featuring the participation of various art troupes and artistic performances.
One of the key activities is the "Colors of Five Continents" street festival, taking place on October 3rd at the Ho Guom pedestrian street. The program is expected to include a parade of Vietnamese ao dai (traditional dress) combined with international costumes, creating a vibrant and visually engaging cultural exchange space between countries.
In addition, the "Cuisine of Five Continents" event, held at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, divided the space according to the continents of Asia, Europe, America, Africa, and Oceania. Each country showcased its distinctive traditional dishes, combined with culinary demonstrations by skilled artisans.
The festival also includes a film screening program and an experiential area titled "Spreading Creativity from Heritage with the International Games Festival," taking place from October 1-4 at Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
On October 2nd, delegates will visit and experience the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village, learning about the cultural spaces of ethnic communities, customs, traditional crafts, folk art, and traditional cuisine.
Through this festival, Hanoi aims to expand international cultural exchange, while creating more cultural experience spaces for residents and tourists; contributing to promoting the image of the capital city and fostering the development of cultural industries, tourism, and the creative economy.
