Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong stated that the Vietnamese economy achieved a growth rate of 9.01% in the first nine months of 2026, a very high growth rate compared to previous years, creating an important foundation to achieve the highest possible level according to the set target.

However, in the last three months of the year, Vietnam's socio-economic situation faced numerous difficulties and challenges, especially since Vietnam's economy is highly open and therefore heavily influenced by external factors.

Therefore, achieving double-digit growth is a huge challenge, requiring the concerted efforts and involvement of the entire political system, the Government, businesses, the people nationwide, and the support and assistance of international friends.

"All sectors, levels, and localities should strengthen the updating and forecasting of the situation, proactively and flexibly manage operations in accordance with the new situation, promptly respond to emerging situations, and steadfastly implement the goal of promoting growth while maintaining macroeconomic stability, controlling inflation, and ensuring social security and the people's livelihoods," Ms. Huong said.
