The second World Cultural Festival in Hanoi will take place from October 1st to 4th at Thang Long Imperial Citadel , with the theme "Gathering Heritage - Shaping the Future," commemorating the 50th anniversary of Vietnam's membership in UNESCO. This year's festival will feature participation from 50 countries, international organizations, and businesses. It is an opportunity for cultures to meet, interact, and share cultural values; while also promoting the image of Vietnam, the capital city of Hanoi, and the country's cultural values ​​and heritage to the international community.

The festival continues to promote the spirit of exchange, connection, and co-creation through culture, while expanding in scale and diversifying in content and experiential forms. Activities create a space for countries to showcase their identity, heritage, and distinctive cultural values; and strengthen exchange and cooperation in the fields of culture, arts, tourism , and creative industries.

 

With a larger scale and more diverse content compared to the first festival, the second World Culture Festival in Hanoi features 45 cultural spaces, 35 food stalls; a film screening program with participation from 18 countries; a fashion space with traditional costumes submitted by 19 countries; and the participation of 20 international art troupes. The festival offers a diverse range of activities, from exhibitions, performances, food, film, fashion to music and cultural experiences.

Within the framework of the Festival, the "Spreading Creativity from Heritage - International Games Festival" area introduces an experiential space connecting historical and cultural values ​​with technology and creative industries. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with Vietnamese businesses, introduces, releases, and operates video games inspired by Vietnamese history and culture. Through this, the public has the opportunity to experience and explore heritage through modern interactive forms, cosplay performances, dance routines from the Audition game, and LED screen effects.

Through a blend of heritage and innovation, tradition and contemporaneity, Vietnam and the world , the second World Cultural Festival in Hanoi aims to create an open cultural space where cultures meet, interact, and share. This will contribute to showcasing Vietnam's heritage, art, and creativity, while also strengthening international cultural exchange.
