Da Nang: Truck carrying steel overturns, blocking the road after collision.

On October 6th, the Road Management Area III (Vietnam Road Administration) reported that a traffic accident involving two trucks had occurred on National Highway 1A, in the Hoa Xuan ward area, resulting in one vehicle overturning.

Accordingly, on the morning of the same day, a truck with license plate 76H-072.07 was traveling on National Highway 1A in the direction of Da Nang - Quang Ngai.

Upon reaching Km 939+550 (near the intersection of National Highway 1A and Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street), this vehicle collided with a truck bearing license plate 37H-165.76.

The accident resulted in injuries to both drivers and extensive damage to the front ends of both vehicles. The truck with license plate 76H-072.07 overturned, blocking the road and causing the steel pipes in its cargo bed to spill onto the road surface.

The incident caused significant traffic disruption in the area. Da Nang traffic police quickly arrived to regulate and redirect traffic around the accident site.

The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by the authorities.

According to Road Management Area III, the section of road where the accident occurred is a straight section with 4 lanes for motorized vehicles and 2 lanes for non-motorized vehicles, located outside of densely populated areas. The collision site is an intersection with a functioning traffic light system and traffic signs.
