Da Nang reviews Party internal affairs work for the first 9 months of the year.

Vo Cong Chanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the City's Steering Committee for the Prevention and Combat of Corruption, Waste, and Negative Phenomena, chaired the meeting.

According to the report presented at the conference, in the first nine months of 2026, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee organized three conferences to disseminate and thoroughly understand four documents from the Politburo and the Secretariat, and eight documents from the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee related to the Party's internal affairs; and issued 105 documents directing the implementation of internal affairs work.

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the City Steering Committee for the Prevention and Combat of Corruption, Waste, and Negative Phenomena issued 207 documents providing leadership and guidance in the field of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative phenomena. The City Steering Committee held 3 sessions and 8 meetings of the Standing Committee to review and provide opinions on the contents according to the work program.

Emphasis was placed on ensuring national defense, security, social order and safety, receiving citizens, and resolving complaints and denunciations. Tasks related to preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negative practices, as well as judicial reform, continued to be implemented; coordination among agencies and units was strengthened.

Speaking at the conference, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department Vo Cong Chanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements; and requested that Party committees, Party organizations, agencies, and units at all levels uphold a sense of responsibility, be proactive, closely monitor the grassroots, and focus on effectively implementing key tasks for the last three months of 2026.

Vo Cong Chanh, Head of the Internal Affairs Department of the City Party Committee, emphasized the need to proactively grasp the situation, improve the quality of forecasting, and promptly advise the Party Committee on leadership and direction to effectively handle emerging issues at the grassroots level; avoiding passivity, surprises, and the formation of hotspots of security and order.

Regarding the fight against corruption, waste, and negative practices, we will continue to strictly implement the policies and regulations of the Central Government and the City Party Committee; strengthen prevention, detection, and handling of corruption and negative practices, focusing on areas and localities prone to violations.

Improve the effectiveness of recovering assets obtained through corruption, as well as assets lost or wasted; strengthen inspection, supervision, and enforcement of the conclusions and directives of the Central Steering Committee and the City Steering Committee.

At the same time, continue to pay attention to the work of receiving citizens, resolving complaints, denunciations, petitions, and feedback; focus on reviewing, classifying, and monitoring complex, protracted, and large-scale cases related to projects, land, and real estate; proactively implement preventive measures to avoid large gatherings that disrupt security and order.

Regarding judicial reform, the Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, Vo Cong Chanh, requested the effective implementation of tasks according to the Central and City Party Committee's programs and plans; strengthening coordination among judicial agencies, improving the quality of investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments; ensuring strict enforcement of the law , contributing to the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of the State, organizations, and the people.
