Da Nang has been honored as Vietnam's fastest-growing startup ecosystem in 2026.

Accordingly, the online awards ceremony took place on September 30th, as part of the Global Startup Ecosystem Awards 2026, in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

StartupBlink announces the Global Startup Ecosystem Index (GSEI) – an award that honors and ranks the fastest-growing and most outstanding startup ecosystems, cities, countries, and innovators annually, based on a range of indicators related to the number and quality of startups, the business environment, and the connectivity of the ecosystem.

According to StartupBlink, Da Nang's GSEI score increased by 154% between 2025 and 2026, the highest among ranked urban ecosystems in Vietnam. The city also climbed 212 places, reaching 554th globally and 3rd in Vietnam in the 2026 ranking.

This result not only reflects an improvement in ranking but also acknowledges the transformations in the process of building and developing a supportive environment for startups in Da Nang, thereby enhancing the city's recognition in the global startup network.

At the same time, the city is gradually expanding connections between startups and investors, businesses, experts, and support organizations both domestically and internationally; strengthening exchange, networking, and innovation promotion activities.

Events such as the Da Nang Innovation and Startup Festival (SURF) and the Da Nang Venture and Angel Investment Forum (DAVAS) have become important networking spaces, helping Da Nang startups access resources, partners, and support networks outside the city.

In the coming period, the city will continue to strengthen activities supporting startups, expand domestic and international connections, attract resources, experts, investors, and technology businesses, thereby creating more momentum for the innovation ecosystem to develop in a dynamic and integrated direction.
