The ceremony was attended by leaders of the Son La Provincial Military Command; representatives of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, departments, and mass organizations of To Mua commune, along with family and local people.
The house, with an area of 117m², was built to a high standard and is suitable for the family's living conditions. The total construction cost was 500 million VND. Of this, 80 million VND was contributed from the Ministry of National Defense 's "Gratitude and Repayment" Fund, and the remaining funds were contributed and supported by siblings, relatives, and friends.

During the construction process, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command, the To Mua Commune Military Command, along with local Party committees, authorities, and people, provided labor support, contributing to the completion of the project.
The inauguration and handover of the charitable houses demonstrates the concern and care of all levels and sectors for policy beneficiary families and relatives of martyrs who are in difficult circumstances; thereby contributing to helping these families stabilize their lives.

Previously, on September 28th, the Son La Provincial Military Command, in coordination with local Party committees and authorities, handed over three houses to support disadvantaged families of policy beneficiaries and military personnel in Tan Phong and Suoi To communes.

Two houses of gratitude were handed over to the families of wounded soldiers and their children; one house of camaraderie was donated to a military family. The projects were built with support from the Army, social contributions, family matching funds, and the labor of officers, soldiers, and local people.
This is also one of the practical activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Armed Forces of Military Region 2 (October 19, 1946 - October 19, 2026).
