Dr. Bui Thu Hang, Director of the Information, Library and Museum Center at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, emphasized that AI is not a "machine that gives the right answer." AI excels at summarizing, explaining, suggesting, debating, expressing, and simulating. However, when AI answers too smoothly, users shouldn't blindly believe it but should question, evaluate, verify, decide, and take responsibility.

Regarding the use of AI in learning and research, Dr. Bui Thu Hang emphasized four key points. First, AI is only a supporting tool, not a replacement for human thinking and the learning and research process. Second, users must be transparent; when required to disclose information, they must explain how the AI was used. Third, users must protect information, not publicly uploading personal data, confidential data, unpublished information, or sensitive data to AI without permission. Finally, academic integrity is paramount; there should be no cheating, no creation of fake sources or data, and learners and users are responsible for the final product.
