LOOKING BACK AT THE JOURNEY OF CULTURAL CONNECTION - WORLD CULTURAL FESTIVAL IN HANOI 2025
The first World Cultural Festival in Hanoi affirmed the pioneering role of culture in promoting international cooperation and building bridges of friendship between nations.
Held from October 10-12, 2025, the first World Cultural Festival in Hanoi featured participation from 48 countries and international organizations, with numerous unique cultural spaces and events, from the "Cultural Road" exhibition to the International Costume Show with the theme "Footsteps of Heritage"/Ao Dai Festival, film screenings showcasing culture and art, a Book Fair, and activities introducing the culinary arts of various countries, along with 30 international art performances, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each day.
Looking back at the three days of the event, the first World Culture Festival in Hanoi was truly a journey of spreading Vietnam's pride, creativity, and spirit of international integration. The festival featured 30 outstanding artistic performances, 17 international art troupes, 34 films from various countries, and over 1 million visitors.
These impressive figures demonstrate the enduring appeal of culture in contemporary social life. Within the heritage space of Thang Long Imperial Citadel, music , light, performing arts, and international cuisine have blended together to create a vibrant, multifaceted tapestry of global cultural exchange.
From here, Hanoi – City for Peace – will continue to shine as the cultural heart of Vietnam, where traditional values meet modernity, where friends from all over the world share a common heartbeat of love, and together build a world united by culture and compassion.
