Highlights from the opening ceremony of the first World Culture Festival in Hanoi in 2025.

The first World Cultural Festival took place over three days (October 10-12) at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Center. The first World Cultural Festival in Hanoi featured participation from 48 countries and international organizations, with numerous unique cultural spaces and events attracting over 1 million visitors.

Within the framework of the First World Cultural Festival, everyone came together to share, learn, and overcome language and geographical barriers to draw closer to one another. This created a space to showcase and promote the diversity and richness of cultures; to contribute to maintaining international peace and security by strengthening cultural cooperation among nations, in accordance with UNESCO's motto "Culture for Peace." Together, we affirmed the pioneering role of culture in promoting international cooperation and building bridges of friendship between nations, achieving the United Nations' sustainable development goals, and bringing common prosperity to the international community.
